Making a do it yourself dog wash and conditioner is easier than you think. No need to over complicate things. Nature typically has all the tools we need. Try it out for yourself.
Homemade Dog Shampoo
This is an easy to make, soothing, Aloe Vera Pet Shampoo
2 cups water
2 teaspoons liquid castile
2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
Up to 1 teaspoon vegetable glycerin or vegetable oil
Combine all ingredients in a jar, and shake to blend. First, wet your dog completely, then pour on the shampoo, lathering as you go. Use your hands and work in the shampoo. Rinse thoroughly. Simple!
Homemade Dog Conditioner
Here is an easy to make recipe for Rosemary Conditioner.
1 1/2 Teaspoon dried Rosemary
4 1/2 Cups boiling water
Combine the ingredients and steep for a 10 minutes. Strain and cool to room temperature before using.
Simply pour it over your dog after the final rinse, for a fresh natural smelling conditioner that helps promote a glossy coat, and helps repel fleas.
